The canal is completely separate from the ocean, and La Peniche is a heavy, sturdy barge. While slight forward movement can be felt while the barge is in transit, there is absolutely no rolling (which is the biggest cause of motion sickness). In almost two decades of business we’ve had no issues with travel sickness!
The cruise will take you along a section of Dublin’s historic Grand Canal for about 1-1.5 hours, depending on availability.
Exclusive hires are available 7 days a week, times are flexible and slots typically last 3-4 hours.
No, you can only embark and disembark at the same jetty.
Yes of course you can bring your own decorations for special events and occasions. Just be sure to let the staff know ahead of time.
